Vegetazione camefitica e nanofanerofitica, calcicola, mediterranea, che si sviluppa su suoli immaturi ed erosi. Tali formazioni sono presenti nel Mediterraneo centrale ed occidentale, tipicamente nella Regione Mediterranea (piani bioclimatici a termotipo da mesomediterraneo a oromediterraneo), sebbene si trovino anche nelle aree a termotipo mesotemperato della variante submediterranea della regione Temperata.

Mediterannean calcicole vegetation dominated by chamaephytes and nanophanerophytes that grows on immature or eroded soils. These communities typically occur in the Mediterranean macrobioclimate, where the thermotype is mesomediterranean to oromediterranean, though they can also be found in the mesotemperate thermotype (sub- Mediterranean variant of the temperate macrobioclimate), in the western and central Mediterranean.
